What to do with everything being logged?

1. Use a search engine which doesn’t such as DuckDuckGo.com
2. Use a private VPN to obfuscate your location and encrypt traffic
3. Use an email provider which encrypts all mail
4. Turn off location services

A private VPN will also make the rollback of net neutrality less formidable.

Nothing I do has to be top secret. Then what is the problem that justifies the expense, slower online experience and extra work? If we all did this, corporations and governments would not have the data which suggests possible futures. Ads, bots and other nasty things leverage historical usage and location information to influence us all.
