Doubling Down
We are here, at our home for the next month and a half, our longest stay thus far. We’ll have to figure out how to fit in with our hosts and be temporary family members.
It also means time to get the bus and give it a makeover. I’ll soon be making calls and heading out to find what is to be our next mode of transportation.
I’m thankful to have arrived safely with all the miles and hours on the road. We’ve certainly seen tragedy and craziness en route. Being here also means actual mountain biking as there are actual trails. Glad about that!
The facts are plain: estimated driving times need to be doubled. It’s not like we necessarily lolligag or faf: our car goes as fast as it goes and for how long can you hold it in or sit on your derrière before enjoying our motility or getting some biking in?
