The search for the bus continues to accelerate. I was looking at skoolie.net and someone mentioned Midwest Transit which led me to this Ford and this Chevrolet which both look nice.

Later I figured I should see if the interwebs have any stories of woe regarding either vehicle’s drive trains. Wouldn’t you know that Ford settled a class action lawsuit over problems with the 2006 deisle engine. So scratch that! Happily the Chevrolet looks good.

I’ll give the dealer a call for sure and, at but 1.5 hours away and a new ride in between, hopefully near enough to go.

Azzan, my friend and former college, whose sure been giving solid advice, walked me through that the asking price is simply a starting point and a couple different negotiating strategies, including favorites such as “kick the tires” and point out the problems to perhaps drive down the price and straight up asking the seller if they’d consider a hecka low price.

Today was a lot of time on the internet searching for a magic bus. Send positive thoughts please!!!
