Guys, this is number 101!!!!!! How about that? That means I’ve been writing for 101 days straight. YOW

Today…………. hmm, what is the topic du jour? Seriously what to focus the day’s post upon routinely brings to mind a section from Zen and the Art of Motorcycle Maintenance where the student can’t figure out how to start writing, the famous “I don’t have anything to write about” moment. The teacher suggests focusing upon something smaller. If I remember correctly, eventually, once down to a single brick on an individual building in one town (etc.), the words pour out.

The relevance for me is in every day there are too many fascinating situations, flabbergasting topics, stunning landscapes, warm moments…. you get the picture…. to ever address and explore all with any decency. Yes: are not our lives rich and wonderful?

Fittingly, we watched the film A Wrinkle In Time. The story is an abridged version of the books much loved by Mme Awesome and is a vehicle for exploring the power of love, determination, and how important are our actions and responses. I am pretty sure the father is the new Captain Kirk btw. It was very sweet.

Today’s ride was slow going. We stopped for a while on the bridge to take in the mixture of water, sunlight, reflections and flora. What a difference in a day; the weather has changed, the sky is clear and the humidity lessened.

Standing there, taking it in, breathing. So nice.
