Pretty Aimless Day
Yeah, not a lot going on right now. I did watch some cool mountain biking videos. One of them was from the first person angle that included just the right amount of the front wheel. It was interesting to watch the rider lift his tire to go over things and see what was chosen to be ridden around. It’s really like everything gets ridden over with a little bit of a bunnyhop. You could also see the changes in how far ahead he was looking by watching how much of the tire was visible in the video. Did he slow down because he didn’t look so far into the future or did he look only so far because he was going slower?
With between 9 and 11 people on the bus, I figure that comes to about 1500 pounds. It’s a 1 ton van, which gives us room for 500 pounds of stuff. I mean, I know it can carry more, however, what on earth does the 1 ton rating signify? Am I supposed to factor in the big box that makes it a school bus? Don’t forget I also am taking out probably 600 pounds between the lift and the chairs.
