Showtime
At long last, certainly probably maybe the better part of 1000 years, the bus is back in the driveway. Whew. They want me to bring it back one more time before we leave to have a look over and make sure everything is OK. Not too distant future frankly.
Vic, who is the owner or manager or main man or whatever, does not think the van should have larger tires. He started talking about how these tires are in decent shape, are a good brand and model, and are properly sized, so stick with that size.
The grand total for the bus, then, is $7156.
Back at the house, M C said “let’s do it” after hearing the start of the day project tomorrow is to take off the lift. And so we did! It’s now laying flat in the back of the bus waiting to be driven to its resting place.
I swear I called at least 12 places asking if they wanted that lift. I mean all kinds of places with all kinds of acronyms. Mostly older folks and gals on the other end. I even emailed some too. No dice.
Another fox river trail ride today.
