Living Small
As we’ve made our way north, temperatures have diminished. Last night we didn’t even fully open any of the windows. The long awaited fan, bought at and end of summer discount, sits idle. I even turned on the heat during the latter parts of yesterday’s drive. We donned coats at the campground.
Speaking of camping, arriving after sundown makes for a challenging game of Let’s Look For It, in this case a campsite. After pulling in, a packing park ranger quickly checked in and politely confirmed we were immediately going to pay up. It turned out the site was for full on RVs with the corresponding hookups and price, motivating us to move on to a more apposite site, in the mostly deserted sector for low brows like us.
Other than us backing up with the safety beeps it was quiet and sleep came easily.
