Fireflies of the Sea
Today was a three swim day. First at the south end of the beach in the calm waters regularly seen at low tide when the isthmus is exposed. Next farther up by the surfies diving into four footers. Last at the the north end of Tryphena in the sheltered waters of the bay. All with their own distinct charms and wonders.
We walked on a magic carpet of phosphorescent splendor as we headed home. Once again, a chance departure made for magic. As we stood sparkling waves washed over our feet. Sometimes the leading edge was lined with light; or, the sea appeared to have been salted with glowing beings.
I’m super stoked that I’m moving and grooving the day after a big ride and I believe I have turned a corner. A welcome event on the day before my unbirthday.
