At The Casino
We spent the night at another nice place, maybe 15 minutes from Santa Fe. We’d planned on staying in the so called RV parking area at the hotel at which Amma will be. However, I’d read that maybe sleeping overnight wasn’t ok which prompted a call which confirmed the policy change.
A happy rendezvous with our Crestonia friends M W and Mme B prompted a quick bus tour before they left for the promised land.

Yes we are at the Santa Fe stop of the 2019 North America Amma Tour. What luck! Not joking: Mme Awesome’s work back east finished on Sunday; we easily met up in ABQ; and Santa Fe is en route to Crestonia.
To make a short story long and instigate what appears to be a non sequitur, I’ve been having a tough time being positive about our species. We kill without a second thought: consider mouse traps, dead flies, what gets paved over because we need to drive or build. What else does this? And then I read about Amma’s work being centered on considering the planet as sacred, something to be cherished; the way things were before western society indoctrinated us to believe it is our right to consider nature and natural resources as there for the taking. Literally spelled out so even I get it.
Meaning socialization rather than some innate horror is at the root of why we are living so frighteningly different that just a few hundred years ago.
Plus we had a great time seeing five friends who are here too. OMG!!!
