Day of Reckoning
We spent much of the day reviewing our things. The culling was significant and, while psychologically difficult, will make our trip easier and safer.
One of our coping strategies for the heat is dipping our shirts into the cooler to soak up melted ice and then redonning. The burning cold lasts for a few seconds and then we have about 20 minutes of bueno.
During our purging and reorganization, we were visited by many butterflies and even hummingbirds.
The deal is we have a really tiny house now and our natural tendencies surrounding what is needed are evolving from the pressure of its management. This is our seventh night: what will happen next?
We also were re-reminded any food in bags can’t be left in the truck bed overnight.
We spent the rest of the day massaging, eating, drinking and chatting. Mme DK shared a video for her one year old, Mme. Awesome drew with charcoal and we recorded a happy birthday song for Mme JP.
