More Gorgeouosity
We rode the Intro to Sedona ride. Views and company and riding and fellow enjoyers were all the best. We stopped at many spots to soak it all in.
Post ride, following quaffage of large quantities of water, we finally made it to Desert Flour, a bakery and eatery which is usually closed by the time we are ready. Two Southwestern hamburgers, coffees and a bear claw later we left VOC for our campsite.
And the young families had left!
After a swim and lounging we did the deed, moving down-creek to the farthest and most secluded campsite. We had been told of some campers from last week who loved their tunes and who projected well and we acted on the suggestion to move.
In the middle of one of many other swims, Mme Awesome saw the biggest crawfish ever!
Later, we met one of the remaining campers, who said he comes through here every year on his migration, this now being his 14th. Cool!
Supper was jerky, chips & cheese, beet salad, cucumber and omelette, in that order, with chocolate for dessert. A veritable 5 course meal.
