Holy Rusty Hose Clamps
Well… the zip tie worked. Great! Except there was another leak too. Bleck! Due to the corresponding general not openness of it being Sunday, we decided to stay another night and make our way to a garage tomorrow AM for some help. That means chow time, a duplicate of yesterday’s most appetizing breakfast.
At this point, the reality is we’re pretty grungy and decide it’s now or never to explore. Given the popularity of the local trail, we make our way up. And up! Wow it’d be a fun downhill on a bike though out of my league getting to the top and today at least too many people. Actually it is part of this loop https://www.mtbproject.com/trail/7021926. The campground is just past halfway up the big climb.
We stopped for a break at an ancient boulder, muito velo is right I think. Perched above as it were, we could see Fall is making its way, as evidenced by the currently small number of trees undergoing the change.
A view of the pretties.

Back at the bus, we did the solar shower thing and retired in comfort.
In between this and that I did some one armed rows. It demonstrated how activity specific I am and that there is colossal room for improvement.
Also!!!!! I rubbed grape seed oil over the plywood counter. The bus’ interior plywood side panels have unpainted, untreated edges and definite rainwater exposure potential. Maybe seeping some into there would be the right thing too?
Today’s zero alternator house battery charging leaves us are wondering if the fridge will be powered the until tomorrow’s departure. For now, it’s dialed back to 41, obviously the right number. It does make a case for solar panels, though staying put is an exception as of now. Plan for the worst or dial back during those times?
