We went to Minnewaska State Park Preserve thinking for a walk and then magically ended up biking. There are a ton of wide and smooth paths called “carriage roads,” upon which riding is legal.

Tremendous boulders and mammoth natural rock sculptures are all over the place. The trees are turning and occasionally there’ll be a single glorious bough or even entire tree ahead of the others. We stopped several times along the way to soak in the splendor.

Earlier in the day I went to an RV parts place and picked up the pump and other items for the shower. Including a sweet shower head with an on/off switch.
