In The Kitchen
I made horchata today. Out of quinoa with full confession the recipe was poorly followed. Specifically, I soaked only the grain and, to boot, in unheated water. Anyway, once ground up with cinnamon and agave and then strained over ice it was good. Except for this unpleasant taste maybe from the lack of anything hot. In the pan, the mix quickly turned into a porridge like creation which I slurped down.
Still smokey. We biked on the indoor trainer, did this and that, watched the new Solo movie plus a ton of previews……. slow day basically.
