Along the beach here is a most captivating bird. Black except for a long and vocal orange beak, and usually found with but one partner.

Mme Awesome spent the day with Mme J, who works with flower essences and is a potter. The three of us had a refreshing Medlands swim in the afternoon after which we rendezvoused with her for the trip back. Holy smokes: the situations people have been in too, if you know what I mean. Most importantly, after dessert we played rummikub!!!

Tonight is warm with but a gentle breeze and a nearly full moon. The silver sea is met by the illuminated sand. How lovely.
