Angle Walking
More French toast and then on to another chill day. First we hit the beach for a swim. Plus turtles. And then came the stunning invention of Angle Walking, patent pending.
See, walking on a beach with decent slope inevitably leads to an unpleasant distraction. Instead of enduring, may I suggest zig-zagging? True, it’ll be less direct; however, if that is an issue, perhaps it is time to ask why you’re on the beach at all. As we discovered, there is also a full contact version, partner required of course.
For those of you who need to see to understand such complex topics.

Following another most excellent meal, we left for an afternoon of more tea, with stops at Pipeline and the surprisingly tranquil Waimea too.
Lots of rain here. Higher up the mountain has been getting torrential downpours. As in flooding and slides. Our host drove through a section of road deep enough to reach midway up the door of his 4×4.
We are packed save for the last minute stuff. Time permitting, we’ll be back to the same beaches tomorrow, make a u turn, and then on to the last flight.
