We went on a great hike today with new pals.

This has been a very wet year, all the creeks are rushing and the mosquitoes are abundant. Aspens and rocks and still snow. We crossed Willow Creek shoes on 3 times while descending plus a dip up top in the snowmelt. For a second we were too cold to be interesting to the many, many mosquitoes.

We’re not sleeping in the bus any more and it’s been pretty much emptied out. Today’s actually the first day we’ve been out properly. Plenty of discussion of what changes are coming and we’re getting close to starting.
