Comings And Goings
The afternoon thunderstorms come from the west. The winds make the aspens quake, and the rolling boom is astounding. Occasionally a long and bright lightning bolt shoots forth.

Spoke with a local who hasn’t had a great experience with folks vis a vis complaining. Apparently the way it’s written walkers and horses are in the bylaws. Bikes are not as back then no one was riding on trails.
It reminds me of Marin, the so called birthplace of mountain biking, where well organized hikers made most of the fun stuff off limits for the less organized bikers.
There is a larger plan in the works. Actually one of the “found” trails (due to not being identified on maps I’ve poured over) is part of it and slated for expansion. That’s cool. Also part of the plan is getting bike rights in place. Post litigation, I was suggested, would be perhaps when publishing the trails would make sense.
For now I’ve rescinded the last batch of trail submissions. I’ll keep reaching out and maintain the tracks gorilla style.
