The backup camera is fully installed. Super helpful in those easy to find tight spots. It can be powered on without being in reverse; it’s not wired to the reverse light’s power.

Snow is all but melted. It’s frankly incredible weather to be outside and I’m glad to say I’m most definitely getting my sun on. Namely the wood pile continues to grow despite solely using the wood stove for heat.

Speaking of wood, the new chimney is through the roof! Yes; and next week it’ll be hooked up to the full on stove with an oven too!!!!!

Speaking of the new chimney, it is currently a tube to the outside. And apparently a more attractive exit than the legacy chimney; not until blocking it up did the smoke decide to leave the old fashioned way again.

I purchased a new saw, one that is actually for cutting tree limbs and trunks up to about 10″ in diameter, basically the wood I cut. This one, to be precise. It is stunning what this thing can motor through. Previously undoable is el doable and has made for so much wood it’s now making me think of adding a fourth row to the big pile of course sitting 30′ and uphill from a dwelling. Like no way, right?

Then there is Zeke Himself: I’m carrying wood on my shoulder which was unthinkable in a wheelbarrow when I started.

Who else remembers me declining to move some boxes in my late 20s at my grandparents because I was afraid I’d get hurt? I don’t miss those times in case there was any question.

Speaking of the wheelbarrow, following up that it is still flat and, frankly, no problem. I did have to split one of the carries with a break tho as I started wondering if my ribs were going to collapse.

Inside the place and years in the making is the glorious hanging of The Yoga Trapeeze, Zeke can’t stand the rush of blood to the head from hanging upside down though Mme Awesome sure loves it. We both dig proving we have tons of potential in pull-ups, dips, and so on using the thing like gymnastic rings.
