Met a guy filling up a rental RV returning to Dallas from Yosemite. That thing was fine in the winter; water, sewer, etc all ok. I can see the attraction: it’s the same sort of thing as using gas or electric heat vs. a wood stove; it’s just easier. Lots more to lug around though of course. And I can fit both our bikes ez.

My biggest longing of the rental was the quiet and appropriately sized suspension. The bus is 2-3000 lbs under gross, making it stupendously bouncy if going over dips or bumps are attempted with any speed. It sure has seemed like all four rear wheels have left the ground sometimes.

About last night…. I was in bed last night about 6:30, finally sleeping at 9:30 ish. It’s the warmest place by far folks, and until about 9 am I wasn’t moving unless absolutely necessary.

Tonight is another story. Yesterday’s highs are below today’s lows. Thank goodness.

Yes I’m sprouting in the bus. The tray stays in the sink as I drive. It is surprisingly doable and they become edible fast.
