The Cleanup
The endless hot water and luscious humidity were intoxicating. I probably took the longest shower of my life. Finished, I simply stood to breathe the moisture.
There was no wind.
I’m getting too thin. Not kidding: for whatever reason I don’t always recognize I am hungry. I am not alone; I used to work with someone who did the same thing. It’s not great because, like maybe you too, I’m even crabbier when hungry. (That person, hungry or not, was never crabby fwiw.) Add to it that, by going to bed so early due to the camping conditions, I miss out on what is another meal for me. Lastly, my activity level is up.
We went to town for groceries and walked around a bit. I’m still tired from the latest super windy night of very little sleep and who knows what else. Basically we made it 3 blocks to a park surrounding the county courthouse where we stopped and sat on the ground. Zzzzzzzz
We discussed what was the final straw. Obviously the wind was a huge issue. I also ran out of tee shirts since I don’t like to wear the couple of synthetic ones I brought. It is a sadfunny how I refuse to accept the lengths I’ll go to avoid wearing them means don’t bring.
This song had to be played today.
