10 Loads of Laundry Later

April 19, 2018 Itinerary Mountain Biking Travelling No Comments

Did we really get to double digits? If we didn’t, we were sure close!

Most of the day was spent getting ready for our departure tomorrow. We got out a bit for sure, the keyword being bit.

One trip was to Soul Ride, a local bike shop. Specifically, I needed my rear brake bled. Glad I can recognize the signs. Mme Awesome is taking a lesson with one of their instructors tomorrow and, though I dropped my bike off late, they are still going to be able to have it ready so I can ride then too.

In the more humid Bay Area, I put in more sealant every 6 months or so. I overheard the mechanic say every 2 months is appropriate [here]. I set a reminder so ours stays useful.

They were very helpful with route suggestions too. If you’re in the area, remember they already know it.

Part of our walk was on a path alongside a seasonal creek. It was nice to stroll under a canopy of trees.

After the ride tomorrow we’re going to look for a spot in the very near Prescott National Forest. Happily we are shedding our fatigue. Just in time.
