Choice is mysterious. Free will too. Why do we do what we do? I believe, once basic needs are met, recognizing and acknowledging our self definitions is key. Meaning all the powerful and emotionally rich beliefs.

Some stuff is just funny. Take dogs: some people kiss their dogs, sleep with them, etc.; others don’t want to touch the parasite carrying mutts. Food is another category where we are all over the map. Unless we compare ourselves with other critters and then our fantastic differences become minimal.

Quato, a supposedly wise character from the classic film Total Recall, says “A man is defined by his actions.” That seems to leave out motive though. Unless I am falling into the good old trap of not keeping track of my belief’s influence.

I’m sitting on the bus steps taking a break with some super refreshing iced mint tea made by Mme Awesome of course. Large, bushy grasses maybe four feet high cover the ground where the pavement ends, approximately 10 feet away. Every now and then a green dragonfly kind of thing lands on a blade to relax with me. The sound of insects and running water is in the air. So much life.

The deal is I’ve been working on this bus every day since June 22. If you count the purchase, that makes it from June 21. I am not sure without the 2 months of biking if I could keep this up. Coincidence?

What I meant up there is for all I know Quato is saying something for Quaid’s sake rather than what he might utter under oath. E.g., I tend to be literal.
