Back In The Day
Slow one for Zeke.
I took out the hacky sack after some good mobility work. What a solid recipe for fun. The truth is I’d taken a hiatus until I believed I could move well enough, some kind of subjective thing. I’d last played with Marcus, and we had a loose agreement to play together again once I felt good. WHERE R U BRO??
Hacky sack is one of the beneficial and fun things I used to do which dwindled off due to a combination of misguided thoughts and breaks from injuries which became eternal. I also used to carry things, ok more for work than strictly fun though definitely still fun.
I used to hike and run, though I found the former more about the environment than truly fun, if you know what I mean. Road biking was great if I had the urge to go full tilt. The Old Tunnel Road climb in Berkeley is a good one for those times.
No need for solar panels. We’ve only had one “problem,” and that was when we had access to a fridge and grid power anyway. Besides, we’re not looking for a full on house experience, and just have our portable electronics beyond the fridge.
