We’re staying just outside the NF at a campground in Clarksburg State Forest. The plan is to track down the fall and then savor.

This trip I set the directions to avoid highways and tolls. The estimated difference was about 40 minutes, though the app can’t be told we never even get within striking distance of the speed limit anyway. Excluding when we stopped for a break or something, the backroads way was about 10 minutes slower than the estimate. We’d have likely arrived at the same time.
