Finally
We are back in Stone Ridge. 22 minutes away is an trail system built using IMBA guidelines I’ve been salivating over and forever unable to ride due to the weather. At last, with some drynessish over the last few days here we saddled up and had a great time exploring the weaving trails.
A view from one of the higher parts. Check out all that serpentine goodness.

I picked up a super long sump pump hose that really is 1 1/4″. Great. Except the hose and tank materials don’t grab at all, making me suspicious the connection will be any more watertight than the prior attempt. As fate would have it, a broccoli sized rubber band appeared; tomorrow I’ll see if it helps create a better seal. All is not lost if not, as I did find a cap that looked good over the day.
Supper was a scrumptious delight of greens, bread, fish and pasta. That’s not all! We also prepared food that’ll keep us going for several days, most notably the slow cooked meat and beans that together are simply too good.
