We left Wytheville after a garage checked the codes, found nothing amiss and essentially said to wait until there is an issue, should one ever arise. Apparently, they do this with the big rigs regularly.
Across the road from the garage.

A while later we pulled into Sugar Hallow Park to move around. Zeke biked while Mme Awesome walked. Lots of trails in a small area = getting lost lots of times and plenty of hike a bike. Salamander Trail was really the only fun one I rode, with ups and downs and artisan berms.
Then we cleaned up at the in park campground and drove to 620 State Restaurant in a very nice section of town for a knockout supper of fried chicken, blackened salmon salad and some broccoli. Plus a quality endless Arnold Palmer and a Smoked Old Fashioned with a wonderfully round ice cube ball. It was all delicious.
An advertisement for retail space in a swank building proposed $7/sq foot. What a difference from the $70s in SF!
