Resources And Needs
We’ve been a guest at a town home in Crestone since our arrival. Coming from the bus, the space is expansive and convenience disarming. Put plainly, it is easy to go through water in unthinkable quantities. There is a heater too. Of course endless electricity.
Industries exist because we give them money. Driving along, mile after mile, the lengths taken to make the businesses supporting transportation, waste, food, clothing, and housing in such easy reach what we consider the norm is freaky.
Alas we’ve really taken this far guys; why has birthing and dieing, stuff we naturally do, become a de facto hospital past time?
I know I’m part of the machine. Really, who isn’t culpable? I’ve gone out of my way to buy a dishwasher even because the one in place didn’t work well. Some people compensate for the typically ineffective ones by essentially washing their dishes before placing them in the machine. Jokes on me.
Storage units capitalize on our Templeton nature. Friends have told me the aggregated cost of the unit would have paid for the items contained within several times over.
For sure we can identify some who are stirring the pot. For example, along our summer voyage we heard an evangelist proclaimed Jesus will only show up when the last tree has been cut down. Apparently the diamond industry has no competition and stockpiles the jewels taken from scary looking mines to make for imaginary value. Better start saving fellas!
View from one of our walks.

I accompanied a small group to a spring where pagamento had been performed by the mamos when we were last in Crestone. Like all things, attention leads to expansion; regular reenergizing is important.
Mme Awesome herself up a trail right out the door.

It turns out there is an elaborate trail system here, ones that would be good for mountain biking. Tomorrow, here I come!
Have you seen light!
