Some Cacti Want To Come Too
The cover for the fill opening on the water tank is, more specifically, a dust cover and, as such, not necessarily designed to be water tight perhaps; I’ve proven this one isn’t positively. Current as of this morning is a new system involving metal and some plumbers tape. Not good having water would spilch out on a decline or any bit of deceleration.

The beauty in the photo below without hesitation will cling to a passing gloved hand: a piece will be attached having broken off from the main plant. I wear leather gloves here for reasons such as this. Apparently horses naturally groom each other of such tomfoolery.

The ride today was again at Tucson Mountain Park, though from a different trailhead. The first half was nothing I’d knowingly repeat. Luckily the second was better, especially Bittersweet. It’s a really small trailhead for the bus so I’ll go back to yesterday’s.

Which brings up a point: it would be three days of riding in a row. That’s new. No way I even did twice in a row honestly last time through or even upon arrival in Crestonia.
